I'm seriously considering moving with Kate to North Carolina after I graduate. Perhaps Jess might move too. Kate's going to grad school somewhere down south and said that I should move with her. At first I was like "Yeah, that'd be cool Kate, I'll get right on that". But then she mentioned it again, and well, it sounds just as good or better than my other options. Let's review those:
1. Stay here indefinitely and live with my parents for another couple of years while teaching here.
2. Move back home to Washington and find a teaching job there while living by myself in an apartment.
3. Move to some other random place, probably by myself, and teach there.

Thoughts on these plans:
1. I would be able to save up almost all of the money I would be making. Cha-ching! But Ohio school funding is a joke. And yeah, my little family is here, but that'd be pretty much it. Friends are scattered around.
2. I don't know much about PA schools, like the funding and job availability, but I know it's better than Ohio's. I'd have the rest of my family there, but no friends there either.
3. Where would I go?? And why would I go there??

Pros of the NC plan:
1. NC has lots of teaching positions open so getting a job would not be difficult.
2. It's south, so warmer weather! YAY!! (And not far from the beach)
3. Kate's an awesome friend. I think we compliment each other well. We'd have a bit different lifestyles, but it'd still be a good time.
4. I think moving away would be really good for me. But it wouldn't be nearly as scarey if I went with Kate. Maybe my future husband is in NC...I'm rather certain he's not in Muskingum County.
5. None of the about 3 plans excite me.

Kate and I are thinking it's time for a roadtrip.
